FAQ
Does Simple Page use IPNS?
No, Simple Page requires publishers to make an onchain transaction for each update made to their site. This creates an onchain audit log of how the website has changed over time, something that IPNS lacks.
Why does the subscription tx ask for $13 when the yearly price is $12?
Simple Page charges subscription fees in ETH, but the price is measured in USD. The subscribe transaction sends $13 in order to account for ETH price fluctuations. However, only $12 at the time of transaction is charged, the rest is refunded (~$1).
What is the subscription fee paying for?
By paying the subscription fee you get access to the in browser GUI editor as well as 1GB of storage for your site (see architecture section for more details).
