Simple Page is open source under the GPL-3.0-only license.

The Code

Everything is public: frontend, repo library, CLI, Node service, common utilities, and smart contracts.

The Promise

Even if we disappear, your site will not depend on a closed platform.

Your content is addressed by IPFS CID.
Your domain is controlled through ENS.
Publication history is visible through Ethereum and indexed history.
The software can be read, forked, and run by anyone.
Simple Page Nodes can be operated independently.

Published content availability still depends on IPFS pinning and gateways. Running your own node or pinning important content yourself gives you more independence.

Run Your Own

If you want full independence:

Run a node to operate your own staging/indexing service.
Use the CLI to work locally and submit drafts.
Override endpoints when public infrastructure is blocked.

You do not need permission from the project to run the software.
